Article*:We would like to update you about a strategic decision to integrate Lamido and Lazada as one service offering under the Lazada brand.

Our goal for Lazada is to rapidly expand our product offering to be the number one shopping and selling destination in Southeast Asia, where consumers can find the widest selection of local and international brands. We are also focused on delivering an end-to-end effortless customer and seller experience.

Lamido was originally set up to offer a customer-to-customer eCommerce platform separated from Lazada, at a time when marketplace contributed less than 10% of Lazada's overall sales. Today, the contribution is approximately 75%. With the rapid growth of both Lazada and Lamido marketplaces, we have experienced an increasing overlap between the customer and seller bases across the two platforms. We believe this has resulted in a less optimized buying and selling experience on both platforms.

Given the many synergies between the Lazada and Lamido brands, it is thus a natural step to combine their offerings. The integration will not only accelerate the expansion of our assortment, but also give our buyers and sellers a better experience.

The transition will be seamless and enables Lamido sellers who are onboarded to Lazada's platform to access Lazada's extensive customer reach including over 4 million daily visits, 7 million newsletter subscribers and 10 million Facebook followers across the region.
