Today, we can already look back at the remarkable success of our partnership in the year 2014 with you and over 1,000 other sellers in the Philippines.

Our recent 11.11 and 12.12 Online Revolution campaigns led to some amazing and mind blowing numbers: Over 8 million page views and over PHP 13 million gross revenue for a single merchant in one day. Let us assure you, this is only the beginning and together we will be able to increase our business exponentially in the next year.

The strong Christmas sales also showed areas where we need to improve rapidly to ensure all the customers we were able to acquire will return and become loyal customers. We have seen a lot of complaints from customers regarding cancelled or heavily delayed orders. In order to improve and prevent these problems, we will therefore introduce the following changes effective January 5, 2015:
• Penalty for seller triggered cancellations: Each cancellation triggered by the seller e.g. out of stock (due to incorrect allocation to Lazada), sourcing delay and items that are not readyfor pick-up although indicated in the system, will be charged with a penalty of PHP 250 per item.
• Penalty for noncompliance of packaging or documentation: Packages that need to be repackaged or refurnished with new documents by Lazada will be charged with an extra PHP 250 per item.
Naturally, these penalties will be waived if there are system errors and wrong doings from Lazada or our third party logistics provider involved. It is also important to understand that we use these penalties 100% to compensate your customers with a voucher for their cancelled or delayed orders. Should you be charged with any penalties, you will be able to see them separately in your account statement and our Partner Support Center team will be able to assist you in case of any questions.

We also work relentlessly on improving the speed and reliability of our shipping providers. We aim to make product shipping as easy and convenient to you and therefore provide you with a simple rate card for all your products. As announced earlier, we have to refine and revise this rate card periodically.

We analyzed the last 4 months carefully and refined the attached new shipping rate card effective January 5, 2015 accordingly. To increase the fairness and accuracy of shipping charges, we have added a few more categories. There are some minor decreases as well as increases in costs for selected categories.
